York Simcoe Minor Hockey League CONSTITUTION
ARTICLE #5: EXECUTIVE
5.1: EXECUTIVE
  1. The Executive shall consist of the following officers: Immediate Past President;   President; Two Vice- Presidents; Secretary; Treasurer; OMHA  Executive appointee(s); and the OMHA Group Convenors.
  2. Each member of the Executive (except the President, unless a deciding vote is necessary) and the Executive Committee shall have an individual vote.
  3. Executive Officers shall be elected for one year excluding the OMHA REM(s) and the appointed OMHA Convenors.
  4. In order to run for any position on the YSMHL executive the person must be a member in good standing within a recognized OMHA association within the YSMHL jurisdiction or its AAA affiliates (Zone/Centre) or have served on executive in previous year(s) or be nominated and seconded by a member of current executive.
  5. Election of Officers shall take place at the Annual Meeting, which shall take place before June 1st. 
  6. It shall be the privilege of the Executive Officers to appoint such standing committees, officials, or other voluntary or paid personnel as it shall consider necessary for the efficient operation of the YSMHL.
  7. A proposed slate of Officers will be supplied, if possible, and further nominations may be made from the floor.
