BYLAW #1: GAMES and GAMESHEETS

1.1: GAMES

AA, A and AE will each play a 30-game season (Juveniles excepted). The regular season will end the middle of January (exact date to be determined yearly).
Conveners must approve all game changes (except for just cause).
Game changes can only be made by the ice scheduler or delegate using a game change form. No team officials may make any change to any scheduled game. No league game will be permitted after schedule completion date.Game changes will be allowed free of charge until September 30^th. From October 1^st to the regular season completion a $50 fee will apply per each game change (except for just cause and minor changes such as arena the same day). Game change fees to be recorded by the division convener and collected by the treasurer. Fees not paid will be taken from the bond.

1.2: TIE BREAKER RULE FOR LEAGUE PLAY

Head to Head competition in league play.
Goal differential GF/GF + GA between tied teams playing head to head in the regular season and highest percentage will advance.
Goal differential GF/GF + GA for tied teams for all games in the regular season and highest percentage will advance.
Most goals during the regular season.
Least penalty minutes between tied teams including misconducts for both coaches and players at 10 minutes each, major penalties at five minutes each and all two minute penalties.
Coin toss.

1.3: GAME SHEETS

White copies of game sheets are to be forwarded to conveners as per OMHA Regulation 18.7. Faxed or emailed copies will be acceptable to update standings providing neither team disputes the results.
Rostered coaching staff are not to receive the white (original) copy of the game sheet under any circumstances. Failure to abide by this rule or failure to forward the white copy of the game sheet to the convener within a reasonable amount of time will result in sanctions to the centre (sanctions to be determined by the Dispute Resolution Committee).
